EIRI 

EIRI is a small, wholly owned, research company.  EIRI was originally incorporated in 1966 by a group of professors who were faculty members at Louisiana State University to provide consulting services for businesses, industry, associations, and governments.  The sole owner today is Dr. Roger L. Burford, a retired professor of economics and quantitative business analysis.

Over the years, EIRI has  provided consulting services for some of the nation's largest companies, including Exxon Chemical Americas, Exxon Chemical Company, Ethyl Corporation, Greyhound Corporation, E. I. Du Pont De Nemeurs & Co., Occidental Chemical Company, Paxon Polymers Company, PCS Phosphates Florida, DSM Copolymer Corporation, BASF Chemicals, Waste Management, Entergy Corporation, Sears Roebuck, & Company, Kaiser Aluminum Company, Weirhauser Corp., Gulf States Utilities Company,  Northern Natural Gas, Central Power & Light Company, Central Louisiana Electric Company, Metropolitan Edison, Missouri Public Service Company, several departments of the Louisiana state government, City of Baton Rouge, and many more.
